Hello Super family!
This week has been a wonderful week. We have seen the hand of the Lord in our work.
First, we got ten member presents, nine others, and one LA/RC. Meaning twenty lessons this last week. That is so hard to get, I have gotten it once, maybe twice before, plus I have never gotten ten member presents. The Lord has blessed us exceedingly. (LA/RC = less-active/recent convert).
We have four people with a baptism date. Jean and Diana were in the Zone leaders area, then they moved to ours and we set a date with them for July 23, Then we set one with Regina and Avery, a ten and an eight year old, she is really bashful, we have been playing puppets with her and I even made colored utensils as the twelve apostles and Jesus, they are awesome. As you can plainly see I just hate it, he he. She has opened up a lot. She is getting baptized June 11.
Next we have Bruce who we finally knelt down and prayed with him and he picked a concrete date. He picked Aug 20. The reason he is waiting so long is that he wants to patch things up with his family so he can invite them to see his baptism. His Mom, and son especially. He is so funny, we joke around all the time and he is just an all around good guy. He is so solid too. He does everything, comes to church, reads his scriptures, prays, and does extra activities.
This last Sunday was the Indianapolis 500. It was crazy! We were at an investigators house about a mile away and you could here the cars zooming. We finished just as the race finished and people started to leave. We barely managed to get through and had to make a few detours because all the roads took us to the airport, we don't want to go there yet, he he. It was a fun adventure.
The pool of Bathsheba is open. We have a pool right outside our back window, so we have to keep the blinds closed now.
We have pet geese, they will eat food out of our hands. Geese just went up on my like scale. We saw them eating dandy lions! I thought that was awesome!
Oh by the way my bike got stolen. It's no big deal. A member gave me a nicer one and someone let me use there spider-man helmet. Then Paula came and let us use her mini compressor to blow the tires up. It's humid, too.
I love you all!!!
May the Spirit be with you!
Elder Durrant :)

Hello supurb fasmily!
This week has been awesome and very interesting.
So Monday evening as we sat down to plan, we got a phone call from the assistants. They asked Elder Eames if he got a call that morning. He said no. They then said hey, sorry, you're getting transferred. Elder Eames is leaving! This is still my first area! By the time the next transfer comes around I will have been here seven and a half months. that is so crazy! My new companion is awesome! His name is Elder Williams. He is from Thatcher, AZ(same as a prophet) He is a year and a half out, and is the District leader. I have only not been the District leader's companion my first transfer. It is fun though.
The first day Elder Williams got here, we had a baptism. My first one!! Her name is Paula Smith. Bro Keim baptized and confirmed her. It went so awesome! She even invited a friend to the baptism. I am so happy!
There is a member here who served in Argentina and knows of Nate Oliphant, I thought that was neat. His name is Bro Cusack.
Thursday morning my back tire was flat, so we walked to the gas station and filled it up. Half way to our appointment it went flat again. We walked the rest of the way to the appointment. They then drove us to where we had locked the bikes up and they pumped it up for me. As we were biking along it went flat again and a guy hollared at me and said my tire was flat. He walked over and said hey, I've got a spare tire, you can have it. He than exchanged our tubes and we filled it up. It is crazy how the Lord takes care of us. It was a great blessing for that brother as well.
We are so busy here. The area is booming, my companion rocks and I love being a missionary, what more can I ask for.
I love all of you and am grateful for your love and support, Thank you!!
May the spirit be with you!

Hello Glorious Family!!
This Week has been awesome! We are still busy as ever, like two to three days in advance, which is sweet! saves on planning time at night.
Paula is getting baptized Wednesday! I am so excited! She was referred by a member when I got here and after six times of trying her and she not being home we almost gave up, but one night we were like hey there's that referrals house, so we were like what the heck. We knocked on the door and she answered. That was about three months ago, now she is getting baptized! And I get to see it! Yep that's right I get to see her get baptized! Elder Eames will be baptizing her and I will give a talk on baptism and be a witness. I am so happy!
We had Y. I. Believe last night. Bruce spoke at it. We met with him a few hours before to make sure he was ready, and he said he was nervous and wasn't sure he was prepared. Especially with this last minute cramming session that we were doing. Elder Eames told me after that he was just going to let him not speak, but I insisted that he speak. I told him I would drag him by his toes up to the pulpit if I had to. After we convinced him that he really did want to speak, Elder Eames prepped him good and helped him with what he would say. He wrote it on a sticky note and Bruce said he would type it out all nice and neat instead of using our sloppy note paper, we all laughed. He actually did it, it typed it all out. He did a wonderful job! He did say that when we first talked to him we were lurking outside his house. Bruce is really funny! He is going to be baptized in August.
We also have a new investigator, Kim, who between two appointments three days apart read the entire Book of Mormon and up to the 109th section of the Doctrine and Covenants, we were blown away. She came to church and she wants to be baptized. And she has an eight year old daughter, does it get any better than that!
We have been having a wonderful week and mission, the blessings of obedience.
Oh, by the way, I am not getting transferred. I am staying in my first area for 7 1/2 months and Elder Eames is still going to be my companion. I am so happy! Elder Eames is awesome!
I love you all! Thank you very much! May the Spirit be with you!

Hello fantubulouis family! All of you!
What an awesome week! Our numbers this week were below average, and since all of missionary work is about numbers, we are not doing so good. ;) ha ha! We had zone conference on Thursday and it was from ten to five. We got trained on all the important secret missionary stuff that only missionaries can know. It was awesome, they fed us to. We took pictures, which I forwarded.
Bruce is doing awesome He gives us rides all the time. This Sunday before we left the parking lot to go home from church, we were getting a ride with him, he said when do I get to meet the Elder's quorum president. We said why don't you ask him, he's right there. So he rolled down his window and said to him "So when are you coming to see me?" They proceeded to set up a time. In all, we have brought over nine members, Pres. will make ten.
Paula was stuck on Gal 1:6 she thought we were a different gospel. We had a testimony meeting at a members home and it was great! A few days later she called and asked if we could do a favor for her, we said sure. She said can you get me baptized, we said I think we can do that. She is getting baptized on the 18th which is also transfers, but things will work out for the best. Her daughter in law from out of state who recently got baptized will be there as well. that will be awesome. She asked me to give the talk on baptism and for Elder Eames to baptize her. My first baptism!!
Everyone else is awesome! They are just at different levels right now of readiness.
Happy Mothers day! Happy birthday! (sorry if I’m late :,( better late than never:D )
I love you all! May the spirit be with you!

Hello wonderfully awesome family!
This week has been fantastic! I have received a nickname from a few different people, "Smiley," I thought that was very funny. who would have thunk it. I just can't help smiling sometimes. Smiling is contagious.
This last Sunday, Bruce, came to church and he went up and bore his testimony. We were so excited! He is doing awesome, he is ready for baptism, he just needs to see that he is ready. He has agreed to speak at the next Why I believe, He is so solid.
We had a lesson with Paula and Larry Sunday at a members home, we had a little testimony meeting, it was awesome. She continues to come to church and have lessons with us, and she says she is close to being converted, but is not quite there yet. Larry, her husband, will do what she does. He told us that a while ago he attended church but wasn't baptized, but it was a positive experience for him.
Then Caesar and Marie are awesome. They haven't come to church yet but they want to. They love to feed us, each time we go over they give us something to eat. They have a lot of questions, and are very open. They also have a friend who has been sitting in and is very interested as well.
Our days have been so busy, they are booked two days in advance that is so awesome.
We set a baptism date with someone we found the day after Christmas, her name is Kim. She is also starting to progress. I love it when people progress! It makes me happy! You know there have been a lot of people commenting on how happy I am, no matter what happens, I don't understand, aren't I a mean grumpy Elder that has no fun, he he :)
I love my companion, it is fun having little useless arguments with him, like this morning over first Nephi, it is fun. I love being a missionary!!
I love you!!!!!!!
Thank you fore you love and support! :) May the Spirit be with you!
