Hello supertastic family!!
This week has been awesome!! We are doing lot's of good and are having loads of fun.
This past week we taught Emily. She is nine years old. We taught her the Gospel of Jesus Christ using the fourth article of faith. She is active in the lesson and will try to answer our questions the best she can.
We are also teaching Max. He is eight years old, but the Bishop asked us to teach him the missionary lessons. We taught him the Restoration and we used two examples. When talking about Jesus Christ calling apostles, we used spoons, knives, and forks. When talking about the Apostasy we used a piece of paper that had several principles written on it. We cut it all up took some of the pieces away and told him to put it back together. He couldn't because pieces were missing. We asked him what we should do. He said "Make another one." We said yes, and explained how Joseph Smith restored the church. We brought another piece of paper that we pulled out that looked exactly like the one we cut up. He understood.
We were asked to speak at sharing time, in primary, about missionary work. It was so much fun. First we talked with the junior primary then the senior primary. We talked about the for different aspects of missionary work. Namely, planning, finding, studying, and teaching. They were excited. They asked questions, made comments, and were happy when we sang a few songs with them. I love teaching!
We were able to participate in giving several blessings this past week. The power of the Priesthood is real. When you speak the words that God would have you speak it becomes a very important and spiritual strength for that person. God loves His children.
I love you all! May the Spirit be with you!!

Hello fulintabulas family!
This last week has been awesome! We have seen many miracles and are doing much good.
The miracle of the week was this, We went to stop by a former, but he wasn't home. We two two four'd him(meaning we knocked two doors to the left of him. Two to the right. And four across the street from him.) As we did this, a guy, named Bro Jeff, answered the door and started talking with us about general things. In the middle of this he said he was really busy but told us that we could come back on Tuesday. As we finished up the knocking the former pulled up so we set an appointment with him as well. This is not the end of the story though. The next day we realized that we had already scheduled something at the time we were going to see Bro Jeff, so we needed to adjust his appointment a little bit. We went back and knocked on his door. He opened it and let us right in and we ended up teaching him the Restoration. He felt the Spirit and told us he did. We committed him to be baptized next month and he accepted. He is a really awesome guy. We were able to adjust the appointment on Tuesday as well.
We had an ice storm this last week! It was so awesome! Everything is so pretty. We were able to talk with a lot of people because nobody wanted to leave their home. It was great. We had a lot of fun. The temperature got up to fifty on Sunday so all of the ice melted. It is fairly warm out, too. The weather is really weird, it doesn't want to make up it's mind. It keeps going from hot to cold. I like the hot times.
I love my companion. Even though he shoots me in the back with nerfs. He loves just picking up his nerf gun and shooting me. One time we were deciding where to go so we attached a pushpin to the end of one of the darts. We shot it at the map and that's where we went. He forgot that he left that nerf in the gun. When he picked it up he shot me and realized what he did. He felt so bad. It didn't break skin it just poked me. I love my companion. One time I was spinning a bottle in the air because I was excited and I lost control of it and it hit me in the upper lip. That drew blood, but I did it to myself so that doesn't count.
We are having a great time over here. We love the work. We love the people. We love the Savior.
May the Spirit be with you!

Hello. hello hello. hello hello hello. How are you? hello.
Good morning wonderful family!
What a week! We have been really busy. It as gone from warm to cold back to warm. We had a transfer. The people we are working with are so awesome.
We taught Tony and his family again. They are really excited to come to church. We told them we were going to teach them the Plan of Salvation next and they got really excited. At the end of this last lesson his wife offered to feed us. We started to object, but she said "I don't feed just anybody." We agreed to let her feed us.
Oh yea, you probably noticed that I said something about transfers. First Have Dad explain what an emergency transfer is. We had one this last week. I stayed in Bloomington and Elder Knowles left to Logansport. We got in a fight and he punched first....just kidding, There was a missionary in another area that needed to leave his area. So, Elder Mayfield is my new companion. He is from Texas. My first Texas companion. He is from Denton. He is tall and is a runner. We are having a fun time. He tells jokes with a straight face and we make fun of each other all the time.
That was the exciting thing that happened this past week. Because of it I got to work in Westfield, Carmel area, above Indianapolis, for a day. It was so fun. The wind was blowing and at some points I would stop peddling and the wind would push me along. I love being a missionary! It is so awesome!
We had a meeting called Y.I. Believe. There was a brother who spoke that was really funny. He told us his conversion story. He said he didn't really care about anything and to use his words he said "I don't care." So the missionaries came over and his wife wasn't happy so he said ok give me that pamphlet (anti) and show me where Romans is (that talks about baptism) and I'll convert these two missionaries. So he had his finger in Romans (if he didn't he would lose it and wouldn't be able to find it.) When they came over they asked him what he knew about the LDS. He said "well, let me tell you what you believe." He told them everything he read in the pamphlet. They politely listened, when he was finished they said. "You know a lot about our church. Now let us tell you what we believe." The guy looked at his wife and gave the look "these guys are lost.(he pulled his finger out a little bit.) They are past converting. (his finger went out a little more.) I tried. (his finger came out.) Over the next six months his wife was converted, but he "didn't care." His wife asked if he would go to church, he said no, she cried, and because he cared for her, he finally cared and prayed. He knew it was true. He was a very funny speaker.
I love you all! May the Spirit be with you!

Hello Glorintabulous family!!
This week has been so awesome! We are teaching lots of people and it's really warm.
Most of this week has been in the forties fifties. It is really nice. More people are outside, so that's more people we can talk to. The more people we talk to, the more people we teach. The more people we teach the more people we baptize. It's all connected!
We taught a wonderful family this past week. They had forgotten we were coming, but they hurriedly got ready, turned the TV off, etc. People were walking to and fro. In the middle of the discussion extended family showed up, so we had the opportunity to meet them and leave a good impression. As we got further in the lesson they felt the Spirit strongly. They rehearsed how they met the missionaries. The father was so happy that he gave Elder Knowles a hug. They asked if they could come to church. We made arrangements for them so they will be there next Sunday.
Where we do service is so awesome. I love it. We serve lunch at a soup kitchen. It is so nice to be able to help people have a meal where otherwise they might go hungry. The guy in charge always puts us in front serving the food because says he "They look nice with their ties and smiles." I love serving there.
We are teaching a nine year old girl and this past week we set a baptismal date with her for March. She is very smart. We gave her a calendar and had her write all the things she needs to do to be ready for baptism. Things like reading everyday, praying, going to church. We are very excited for her.
The ward is awesome. They are treating us great. Feeding us a lot. I love it here!
I love you all! May the Spirit be with you!

Hello happy partying tired Family!!
It's a new year! A fact that I have just thought about is, if hypothetically speaking I stayed up until midnight I would have had my new year two hours before you, thus I would have gone to bed two hours earlier. That is if I stayed up and if I went to bed right after midnight. ;)
We have had an awesome week! We are doing lots of good and working really hard. My companion was sick, but he didn't want to stay inside so we went out. That day it was snowing and was cold. He was getting worse so I told him we were going inside. He called Sis Collins and she firmly said, leaving no room for question, "you are in for the night." I thought it was really funny. He got better the next day and we worked.
It stayed really warm for a while. Today the weather caught up with the season. It is cold today, but we have the car :)
We are teaching lots of good people. Peter was out of town, but we asked him if he would go to church where he was going. He said he would like to, so we got the address for the church where he went. We are really confident he went. We taught a group of four people. One was a less-active, two were former investigators, and the other had never been taught before. As we talked with them the one who had never been taught felt the Spirit. We told him that was the Spirit. He liked that feeling. He said it was nice. As the closing prayer was said he said he felt chills go down his spine. Because they felt the Spirit they are willing to learn more. As they continue to learn more and feel the Spirit, they will be converted.
I love it here, the people are nice, and being a missionary is awesome!
May the Spirit be with you!

P.S. We also taught someone who is a huge star wars fan. They have more than one hundred star wars action figures. Star wars legos. Lots and lots of Star wars things.
